Nebraska State Fair Cares selects Nebraska Children’s Home Society
OMAHA (Aug 22, 2018) – Nebraska Children’s Home Society was selected for the Nebraska State Fair Cares program to help nonprofits achieve their goals in fundraising and awareness.
“We are excited to share our vision of “a safe and loving family for every child” with Nebraskans,” NCHS Chief Development Officer Brian Osborne said. “Since our founding in 1893, NCHS has touched the lives of tens of thousands of Nebraska families.”
“We’ll educate fairgoers about our work over the last 125 years, services to Nebraska children and families, and educate the public about the need for foster parents,” Osborne said.
Nebraska Children’s Home Society will have access to fairgoers on its first weekend, August 24-26. State Fair Cares participants will be located on the fairgrounds across from the Welcome Center.
The Nebraska State Fair runs from August 24 through September 4 in Grand Island, Nebraska.
