Honoring 130 Years of Caring for Nebraska Children and Families at NCHS's Anniversary Celebration
On April 29, 2023, the Nebraska Children’s Home Society (NCHS) will be celebrating its 130th anniversary with a celebration at A View West Shores in Waterloo, Nebraska. This event is an opportunity for members of the community to come together and show their support for NCHS’s mission to provide safe and loving care to children of all ages.
The anniversary celebration will include a keynote speech by Adrian McLemore, who will share his compelling life story through his experiences with foster and kinship care. Guests are invited to attend the celebration to learn more about NCHS’s history, mission, and impact over the past 130 years.
NCHS was founded in 1893 and has been providing quality care ever since. The organization is dedicated to supporting children and families through advocacy, education, prevention services, mental health treatment, adoption services, kinship care navigation, and more. NCHS continues to lead the way in providing compassionate care for those who need it most.
